Trip to Te Oro

On Monday the 22th of June the middle syndicate went to Te Oro.   When we got to Te Oro we took off our shoes and lined them up against the wall.  We got split into three groups with year 4, year 5 and year 6.   Year 5's painted rock's with lot's of paint.  Year 4's Carved clay with patterns.   Also year 6's did weaving.  Here is 2 picture's of us doing the clay.

Slime

Today on Friday after morning tea we made slime because we learned about insructional slime writting.  Some people made there slime pink,green and blue.  I coulored my slime green.  I felt very excited and at the same time I felt butterfly's in my stomache. Because when Voni was mixing the slime it looked slimy and gooey.  I made my slime with Voni, Moe and myself.  I love my slime it was crunchy.  I made bubbles when I made the slime cruches.  I enjoyed making slime and doing it with other people.

Honey toast.

On wednsday we had honey on toast. The toast tasted really yum and the honey was expensive.Tali took photo's of us eating it.  We were eating it outside because Mr. Sok didnt want crumbs in his classroom. Here is a picture of me eating on the beanch.

Coco rice

Last week Room 8 had coco rice served by room 9.We took photo's and had to eat it outside or we will spill it. Mr. Sok had the biggest one because Sione gave him the biggest one. I have enjoyed it. I felt happy and full.
